Welcome to the New Siam Orchid Thai Restaurant, located on Dolores between Ocean & 7^th, in Carmel by the Sea. In the heart of Carmel town, known for it’s famous boutique shops, jewelers, Galleries and incredible restaurants. Although only very new the Siam Orchid is fast becoming a hot spot for excellent Thai cuisine created by Chef and Owner Jackie Welling. Opened in October 2008, the diners of Carmel have experienced the authentic exotic flavors of Thai cuisine and the gentle antique Thai atmosphere created for comfortable dining.

She has traveled the world for the past 10 years to such places as England, Scotland, Thailand, California and Florida to develop her culinary expertise. Chef Jackie and her husband Peter assure you an enjoyable experience while dining at the Siam Orchid Thai Restaurant.

Known for her innovative, exotic dishes Jackie and her Thai chefs aim to offer a diverse and flavorful menu, from mild to hot, sweet and sour, Vegetarian or not.
One of the keys to creating our succulent dishes, is the daily use of fresh herbs and spices, such as lemon grass, cilantro, basil , mint, galangal and kaffir lime leaves.
